You know how important it is to make sure your children lead a healthy and happy life.
But right now, with schools shut, lockdown in place and socialising being almost impossible, it’s becoming harder to make this happen.
Add to that home schooling and the winter weather and it’s all too easy to let screen time replace fulfilling activities.
So as parents ourselves, we thought we should do something about it. After nearly a year of talking and sketching out ideas, we began to formulate a new and fun way to reset our kids’ daily routine and help them feel better about this crazy situation – and themselves.
We reasoned that by giving them a platform and worksheets to set their own goals to reach, they’d be more inspired to do new things like join an online club, run around the garden, read a new book (or even write one!) or take up a new hobby.
We called this #GOALPOWER. We created a little match snack with a fun football card game, footy facts and new skills to learn. All you have to do is get a GOAL POWER snack for each child, follow the directions to get online and then you can kick-start their goals for the upcoming weeks, months and even years. It’s that simple!
There’s lots of online support, ideas and free printables too, plus a place for them to send their achievements which could be selected and displayed on the website to inspire everyone.
